Investing in children is our purpose.
Recruiting and retaining qualified Catholic educators is our goal. |

The Archdiocese of San Antonio Catholic Schools Endowment Fund was established in 1981 to provide long-range supplementary funds for the continuation and development of Catholic school education. The principal is to be held perpetually in trust. Each year, less the Development Office expense, the schools of the Archdiocese will receive an equitable share of the accrued interest generated from the fund. Currently, the Endowment is worth 1.9 million. |
The Catholic Schools Development Office
has set up a
"Designated Schools Endowment Fund". |
| |
| The criteria for a Designated school includes: |
| |
Enrollment of 200 and below |
| |
Enrollment has declined by 10 percent or greater for several years |
| |
Located in an economically challenged area |
| |
Sponsoring parishes are struggling financially |
| |
Must be classified as being Archdiocesan or sponsored by a parish |
|
| |
Composed of individuals, corporations, and foundations, the donors of the Catholic Schools Endowment Fund and the Designated School Endowment Fund share a common belief in the values in providing a Catholic education to the families in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. |
